The Coolest ‘Star Wars’ Costumes and Props From a New Exhibit That’s Strong With the Force

On Saturday, Star Wars fever will officially hit New York City as a massive exhibit of the most iconic Star Wars costumes, weapons and artwork opens in Discovery Times Square. The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art — George Lucas’ personal archive — combed its archives and worked with the Smithsonian Institution to put together the immersive new presentation. The winding corridors of the display includes fan-favorite costumes (an original C-3PO, Leia’s slave bikini, and Boba Fett’s battered armor, for instance) and a sneak peak at the outfits and props used in The Force Awakens. Yahoo Movies got an early preview of the show, so even if you can’t make it to New York, we’ve got you covered. Click through for the highlights.
