20 Years of Wes Anderson: Check Out Some Amazing Art Celebrating Auteur's Eccentric Vision

Wes Anderson has been hand-crafting films for two decades. To celebrate the quirky auteur, San Francisco’s Spoke Art Gallery put out the call to artists: Create pieces inspired by Anderson’s oeuvre, from 1996’s Bottle Rocket to 2014’s The Grand Budapest Hotel. For the past five years, more than 400 artists across the globe have contributed to the Spoke Art’s annual showcase, titled Bad Dads. The curated works have been compiled into The Wes Anderson Collection: Bad Dads companion book from Abrams timed for release ahead of this weekend’s Wes Ander-thon film festival in San Francisco. “I cannot take credit for much of anything on these pages, and I do not even know if it is actually legal to publish this book?” Anderson cheekily writes in his foreword. “But, for whatever it is worth, I approve, and I hope you will, too.” Yahoo Movies has an exclusive preview of the Bad Dads book; click through for images representing each of Anderson’s 10 films.
