bequeathed it with a 26-episode Season 2. The weekly program hosted by Jamie Colby explores unusual circumstances of inheritance from across the U.S. “Whether a family business or a forgotten heirloom, viewers have really responded to the compelling and financially surprising stories of Strange Inheritance, said Bill Shine, SEVP of FBN and Fox News Channel. “We’re excited to bring the program back for a second season.”

The Monday night series, produced FBN Director of Special Programming Brian Gaffney and Tower Productions’ Jonathan Towers (American Justice, Gangland), launched January 26 with back-to-back episodes. The first, about the Black Swamp baseball card find, drew 289,000 viewers at 9 PM, including 44K in the news demo. Episode 2, about a guy who left his farm to two retired TV actors who did not know him, scored an average of 315,000 viewers, with 49K in the demo.

“This has been the most rewarding experience in my career,” Colby said, “and I can’t wait to get back out on the road for season two.”
