Shia LaBeouf Addresses Alec Baldwin and 'Orphans' Issues on Letterman (Video)

Shia LaBeouf has entered the second act of his firing from the Broadway play "Orphans," directly addressing his issues with Alec Baldwin. Appearing on Late Night with David Letterman Monday night, the "Company You Keep" star called Baldwin "a good guy" and added, "the play is terrific -- I got nothing bad to say."

Actor Tweets About Exit From 'Orphans' After LaBeouf was fired from "Orphans" in February -- just weeks before the play was to begin previews -- he launched a Twitter tirade, posting private email correspondence with co-star Baldwin and director Daniel Sullivan. Baldwin fired back, likening LaBeouf to a "celebrity chef," who wants applause but isn't interested in working. "I'm pretty passionate and impulsive. And he's a very passionate individual as well. And I think that impulsiveness and that passion makes for some fireworks," LaBeouf said Monday. He was sporting a boot from a run-in with a jump rope that left him with four broken metatarsals.

Letterman, who is friends with Baldwin, offered to arrange a reunion. But, LaBeouf said, "I think that would be a tough one to pull off."
