Dana White: Ronda Rousey Doesn't Get Enough Credit

After defending her UFC women’s bantamweight title for the third time in a one-year span on Saturday, Ronda Rousey plans to film a movie before she accepts another fight.

She logged the fastest submission finish ever in a UFC title fight when she stopped Cat Zingano with an arm bar in just 14 seconds during the UFC 184 main event at the Staples Center on Saturday night. She had an agreement with the organization prior to the fight that she’d be taking a brief break following the event.

“We had a deal that she was going to go do a movie after this fight. So when she’s done with her movie, we will talk,” revealed UFC president Dana White during the UFC 184 post-fight press conference.

Rousey confirmed that she’d be taking a brief break to continue her acting career, but wouldn’t go into detail about what film she’ll be starring in.

“I don’t know what I’m supposed to say about it yet. Yes, I’m going to make a movie. But I’m not going to say anything about it,” she said.

The 28-year-old has appeared in a three motion pictures since 2013, even relocating her training camp to the filming locations. She’s appeared in The Expendables 3, Fast and Furious 7, and Entourage.
