Proud Of His Asteroid Movie: Despite reports that Michael Bay is apologizing for 1998's asteroid blockbuster "Armageddon," the director has clarified his previously comments telling Access Hollywood at the premiere of "Pain & Gain" that the initial report of an apology for making the movie was "just BS." "What I said specially was, if I could have a moment, a few more weeks to edit the third act, there were some things I wanted to change in the third act," he told Access on Monday. "People twist words and they make stories and it's just crap! 'Armageddon' is played so much on cable there is nothing to apologize for!" The Miami Herald reported that the director said, "I will apologize for 'Armageddon,' because we had to do the whole movie in 16 weeks... It was a massive undertaking. That was not fair to the movie. I would redo the entire third act if I could."
