Robert Downey Jr. 'Winks' at More 'Iron Man' Movies on 'Daily Show' (Video)

Robert Downey Jr. suggested with a wink that his days as Tony Stark are far from over while appearing on "The Daily Show" on Tuesday night.

When host Jon Stewart asked the dapper actor if he's going to "keep going," Downey responded, "I don't know."

"I had a long contract with them, and now we're going to renegotiate," Marvel's biggest star continued -- before giving Stewart a cheeky wink.

Downey's long contract included three "Iron Man" movies, as well as "The Avengers," and Marvel chief Kevin Feige previously confirmed Downey's Stark would be returning for "The Avengers 2" in 2015.

But 48-year-old Downey may have just given "Iron Man" fans hope for a fourth, or at least an appearance in other upcoming Marvel releases like "Ant-Man" or even "Guardians of the Galaxy."

And if you ask Stewart, there's nobody better to play one of the world's richest and most arrogant superheroes.

"You are Iron Man," Stewart said. "You are."
