Ratings: 'Winner Is' Nabs Top Numbers for Summer 2013 Broadcast Series Launch

ABC's new drama "Mistresses" rose from last week's disappointing premiere, while NBC took Monday night overall with "The Voice" and the encouraging preview of its new vocal game show "The Winner Is," according to preliminary numbers.

A preview of "The Winner Is" at 10 drew a 1.9/6 -- up 12 percent from last summer's premiere of "Stars Earn Stripes," and the top summer 2013 series launch of any broadcast network so far. The game show took 6.6 million total viewers, which also made it the most-watched summer 2013 series launch of any broadcast network so far.

"The Voice" at 8 p.m. took the night's best ratings with a 3.2/10 -- down a marginal 3 percent from last week -- and was the night's most-watched show with 11.5 million total viewers.

As a result, NBC took first place in the advertiser-sought 18-49 demographic with a 2.8/8 and in total viewers with 9.9 million. 

ABC was second in ratings and total viewers with  a 1.6/5 and 5.2 million. "The Bachelorette" was even with last week for a 1.7/5 and had 5.6 million total viewers, while "Mistresses" at 10 climbed 17 percent over least week's debut for a 1.2/3 and had 4.3 million total viewers.

Univision took third place in ratings with a 1.3/4 and fourth in total viewers with 3.3 million.

CBS, which aired repeats throughout the night, was fourth in ratings and third in total viewers with a 1.0/3 and 4.3 million.

Fox tied Telemundo for fifth in ratings with a 0.7/2 and was sixth in total viewers with 1.7 million, compared to Telemundo's 1.8 million. Following a "Raising Hope" repeat at 8, "The Goodwin Games" at 8:30 drew a 0.6/2, down 14 percent from last week, and had 1.6 million total viewers.

A "New Girl" repeat at 9 was followed by "Anger Management" at 9:30, which was even with last week's airing for a 0.7/2 and took 1.7 million total viewers.
