VH1 executive Jeff Olde has been named executive vice president of program development for E!, effective this summer.

Olde oversaw the development of such VH1 shows as "Mob Wives," "Love & Hip Hop," "The Surreal Life," "Rock of Love," and "Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew."

At E!, he will oversee such core franchises as "The Soup," "Chelsea Lately," "Fashion Police," "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and "Kourtney & Kim Take Miami." He will also oversee the development of scripted shows.

"Jeff is an incredibly gifted executive with deep industry relationships and a unique creative expertise," said E! president Suzanne Kolb, to whom Olde will report. "His passion for pop culture and proven track record for serving the audience will be invaluable to our long-term growth."

"E! has always been a leader in high-quality pop culture news and entertainment, and is among the most respected brands in cable television," said Olde. "I am beyond thrilled and excited to join Suzanne in building upon E!'s success and bringing the network to new heights."

Prior to joining VH1, Olde was a creative consultant to Brian Graden, president of entertainment for MTV Networks Music Group. He also won a Peabody Award for producing MTV's "BIOrhythm."
