Lucas Till Returning as Havok in ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’

Lucas Till has joined the cast of “X-Men: Apocalypse,” reprising his role as Havok.

Director Bryan Singer posted the news on Twitter and Instagram on Friday.

Till played Havok — a mutant who has the ability to absorb energy and discharge it — in both “X-Men: First Class” and “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” in which the character served in the Vietnam War as a military test subject.

Olivia Munn and Lana Condor have joined the cast as Psylocke and Jubilee, respectively, alongside returning stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult and Rose Byrne.

Ian McKellen (Magneto) and Patrick Stewart (Professor X) will not be returning for the next installment. “Apocalypse” will be Jennifer Lawrence’s last appearance as Mystique, she recently confirmed.

Singer is directing the film from a script by Simon Kinberg, Dan Harris and Michael Dougherty. Fox will open “X-Men: Apocalypse” on May 27, 2016. Till will be seen next in Paramount’s “Monster Trucks,” opening on Christmas.
