Lionsgate Taps Amy Dunning As Head Of Music

Lionsgate has named Amy Dunning as the head of music for its motion picture group. She will report to the division’s co-president Erik Feig and oversee Lionsgate’s film scores, songs and soundtracks. She’s already working on the music for the upcoming slate Allegiant Part 1, Gods Of Egypt, Now You See Me 2, Deepwater Horizon and La La Land as well as titles in development such as Saban’s Power Rangers, The Odyssey, John Wick 2, Robin Hood: Origins and Monopoly.

Before Lionsgate, Dunning was the SVP at Downtown Music Publishing, where she established the West Coast division and created opportunities for the writers and the catalog, which includes works by John Lennon & Yoko Ono, The Kinks, Hans Zimmer and One Direction. Dunning started her career at 20th Century Fox ultimately becoming VP Film Music there. During her tenure she worked on the music for Juno, (500) Days Of Summer, Water For Elephants, Chronicle, Stoker, The Heat, The Wolverine and Life Of Pi.
