There are less than 6 degrees of separation between Kevin Bacon and wife
Apparently, married actors Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick never played “six degrees of Kevin Bacon” before they got hitched.
It turns out the “Footloose” and Kyra Sedgwick of “The Closer” were discovered to be distant cousins — thanks to Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr.
According to Insider, Gates, a PBS master with shows like “African American Lives” and “Faces of America,” is rolling out a new 10-part series called “Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates Jr.”
Gates delved into the backgrounds of the two actors and found out that they are related by more ways than just through marriage.
It appears there were less than six degrees of separation between Bacon and Sedgwick before they were married — whoops!
