YOUR MAMA’S NOTES: On her mildly controversial and arguably ground-breaking hit show “Girls,” writer-producer-actress Lena Dunham may play an all-but-penniless writer and Iowa Writers’ Workshop dropout who gets by on her parents’ dime, but in real life, she’s a wealthy young woman on the fast track to showbiz success who now boasts multimillion-dollar homes on both coasts.

As was first sussed out by celebrity gossip juggernaut TMZ, the 28-year-old, two-time Golden Globe winner has, despite her typical New Yorker’s disdain for Los Angeles, plunked down somewhere in the area of $2.7 million for a celeb-pedigreed micro-compound in the historic Spaulding Square neighborhood. (As we type our fingers to the nubbins this morning, records do not yet reflect a transfer of ownership of the property that was last and briefly listed on the open market earlier this year at $2,699,000.)

The recently and thoroughly renovated and restored property, once owned by the late “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” actor George Peppard, is set behind thick and high privacy hedges and includes a circa 1920s Craftsman-meets-Greek Revival bungalow with two bedrooms and two marble-accented bathrooms. The separate but interconnected living spaces include living and dining rooms, a small den/TV lounge and a center island kitchen large enough to accommodate a small dining room table. There are Swedish hardwood floors throughout, a red brick fireplace in the living room and numerous French doors that open to covered front, rear and side porches. A separate, self-contained guesthouse provides a poolside lounge with high ceilings and built-in bookshelves, a small kitchen with marble counter tops and laundry facilities, a tiled bathroom and sleeping loft.

In New York City, Brooklyn-based Miss Dunham owns not one but two apartments, a one bedroom in the affluent Brooklyn Heights neighborhood she bought in March 2012 for $500,000 and a much more celebrified, 3,200-square-foot sprawler just a few blocks away that she acquired in May 2014 for $4.887 million and reportedly shares with her longtime beau, musician Jack Antonoff, and her super-cute if snappish pooch Lamby.
