Josh Gad Set To Star In ‘Heavy Duty’ Comedy From Paramount, Based On His Idea

Paramount Pictures today announced that the comedian (Frozen, The Wedding Ringer, Broadway’s The Book Of Mormon) will star in “Heavy Duty,” a comedy based on Gad’s original idea and scripted by Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit (1600 Penn, Super Fun Night). Disruption Entertainment’s Mary Parent and Cale Boyter will produce with Gad. Drew Pearce (Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, Iron Man 3) will executive produce.
