The film, which premiered at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival, follows a young writer who creates an embellished online dating profile to woo his crush after he fails to romance her in person. When the harebrained scheme is a surprise success, he must keep up the act or lose his dream girl forever.

Long and O'Donnell produced with Holly Wiersma and Logan Levy, while Brice Sanderford and Cassian Elwes executive produced.

Jonathan Sehring, President of Sundance Selects/IFC Films, praised Coiro as "an incredibly talented filmmaker" and the irreverent screenplay co-written by Long.
