Geoff Stults Cast In Nicolai Fuglsig’s ‘Horse Soldiers’
EXCLUSIVE: Geoff Stults has signed on to co-star in the Nicolai Fuglsig-helmed drama Horse Soldiers. He joins Chris Hemsworth, Michael Shannon, Michael Pena, and Austin Stowell in the pic based on the true story about a U.S. Special Forces Team and their untested captain sent to a rugged region of Afghanistan in the weeks following September 11th.
Stults will play Sean Coffers, the team’s complainer, constantly cynical about the mission, but does his job well.
The pis is being co-financed by Black Label Media, whose Molly Smith, Trent Luckinbill and Thad Luckinbill are producing with Jerry Bruckheimer. Chad Oman will exec produce. Horse Soldiers was adapted from Doug Stanton’s book by Peter Craig and Ted Tally.
Coming up for Stults is Denis Di Novi’s Unforgettable for Warner Bros and Joseph Kosinski’s Granite Mountain also from Black Label. He is repped by UTA.
