Emma Watson Inks With CAA

Emma Watson, perhaps best known for playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter franchise films, has signed with CAA for agency representation, moving from WME.

Watson has two big films on her slate for next year: she stars as Belle in Disney’s live-action rendition of Beauty And The Beast, which was directed by Bill Condon and will bow in theaters March 17. The trailer garnered 127.6 million online views worldwide within its first 24 hours of release. Also, she will star opposite Tom Hanks and John Boyega in The Circle. The pic, based on the international bestseller by Dave Eggers, was directed and adapted by James Ponsoldt and will be out April 28.

Watson’s past film credits include The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, The Bling Ring and Noah. She will continue to be managed by Untitled Entertainment.

The young actress has a strong presence on social media with a total following of 77 million across platforms, according to RelishMix. On the philanthropic side, Watson serves as a Global Goodwill Ambassador for UN Women, and her work on the HeForShe campaign earned her a place on Time magazine’s 2015 Time 100 list of the world’s most influential people.
