LONDON – UKTV, the multi-channel network operator owned by BBC Worldwide and Scripps Networks Interactive, has inked a deal with CBS Studios International for U.S. crime drama King & Maxwell.

The show will mark its British premiere on UKTV's Alibi, the network's crime drama branded channel, in the first quarter of 2014.

UKTV director of program acquisitions Catherine Mackin brokered the deal.

King & Maxwell is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Shane Brennan Productions.

The series also stars Michael O'Keefe (Michael Clayton) and Chris Butler (The Good Wife) as F.B.I. special agents who clash with King and Maxwell over their unconventional methods.

Alibi also airs U.S. drama acquisitions Rizzoli & Isles, Castle and Body of Proof.
