Warner Bros. has announced that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition, Zack Snyder’s three-hour, R-rated iteration of his superhero saga, will get a one-night-only premiere in movie theaters this coming Monday, June 27. Unfortunately, those special screenings will take place in only 12 theaters spread across the U.S. (Click over to the Warner Bros. Pictures site to see if it’ll be playing near you.) So if you live outside a major metropolis, you’ll need to hop in your own Batmobile for a road trip to see if Snyder has improved upon his divisive DC Comics blockbuster with this updated version, which will restore the mysterious Jena Malone character who didn’t make it into the initial cut.

If you can’t attend a special screening, you’ll only have to wait a day to get a chance to see the new cut for yourself, when it hits Digital HD on June 28. The Blu-ray/DVD follows on July 19.
