Sorry, "Bachelorette" fans; you'll have to wait a little bit longer for your favorite dating show to return.
In an effort to strengthen its May sweeps performance, ABC has pushed the season premiere of "The Bachelorette" back a week, from May 20 at 9 p.m. to May 27, with a two-hour episode at 8 p.m, and moved the new series "Motive," which is being billed as an "innovative procedural," will now air in the May 20 at 9 p.m. timeslot that the "Bachelorette" season premiere was supposed to occupy.
"Motive" had been scheduled to premiere May 21 at 10 p.m., following the series finale of "Dancing With the Stars."
"Motive," which stars Kristin Lehman ("The Killing," "Judging Amy") as single mother and detective Angie Flynn, will now air following the performance finale of "Dancing With the Stars."
