Anne Hathaway Parts Ways With Longtime Stylist Rachel Zoe: "There Is No Bad Blood"

Breaking up is hard to do. Anne Hathaway recently ended a very significant relationship in her life -- with her longtime stylist, Rachel Zoe, who outfitted her on the red carpet for 10 years, a source confirms to Us Weekly. (The Hollywood Reporter was first to break news of the split.)

Since parting ways with Zoe, the Les Miserables Oscar winner, 31, has instead been working with veteran stylist Penny Lovell, who also dresses Rose Byrne and Orange Is the New Black star Taylor Schilling. She reportedly turned to Lovell before the 2014 Sundance Film Festival earlier this month.

"There is no bad blood between Anne and Rachel, and in fact the door is always open for them to work [together] again," an insider explains to Us. "It's just that Anne is looking to try new things, and she loves Penny's work. It's nothing dramatic." (Indeed, the actress and her former stylist seemed friendly and happy to see one another when they ran into each other at the Beverly Hills Farmers Market last weekend.)

Hathaway hasn't had many big red carpet moments since last year's Oscars, where she got into a bit of dress drama with Amanda Seyfried. (After learning that her Les Mis costar planned to wear a dress similar to her Valentino gown, she switched at the last minute to a controversial pink Prada creation.) However, she's starting to make the rounds again to promote her new movie Song One, and she also has a role in Christopher Nolan's upcoming film Interstellar.

While in the past she has gravitated toward very feminine, structured looks, her style at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, was decidedly more understated and androgynous. At the premiere of Song One, for example, she rocked a baggy, forest-green pantsuit with black leather motorcycle boots. On another day, she wore tattered jeans and and oversized Givenchy sweatshirt.

More recently, at the 2014 Hollywood Stands Up to Cancer event on Jan. 28, she donned black skinny jeans, a loose Philip Lim silk top, and a Viktor & Rolf blazer.
