Great MovieBy Yahoo! Movie User on Fri, Nov 22, 2013 3:37 PM EST
Not as good as the book, just to warn you. I'd recommend reading the book first. That said, I thought Asa Butterfield played Ender as well as anyone could have expected. He was fantastic. Harrison Ford was fine, but I didn't get a sense of depth from him. I suppose the Graff character was never a deep character anyway, but Ford did what he could with the part. What was best about the movie was the brilliant adaptation of the book; putting Ender on the big screen was always going to be incredibly hard. But the writer-director pulled it off. The movie was written for people who have read the book, which is a LOT of people. But it would probably still be a great movie without the book. I recommend the movie, but I recommend the book first.
