Three Good Reasons

  • 1

"Mission: Impossible 3" was the best movie of the series, and it looks like the fourth installment will make this the rare franchise that actually gets better with age.

  • 2

If Tom Cruise dangling off the highest building in the world isn't enough for you, he's backed by Oscar nominee Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton, and Simon Pegg.

  • 3

Not many first time directors already have two Academy Awards, so master animator Brad Bird ("The Incredibles," "Ratatouille") should make the transition to live action movies just fine.

Bet You Didn't Know

Yes, that really was Tom Cruise dangling on the outside of the Burj Khalifa, the 163-story, 2,717-foot-tall record holder for the highest structure ever built. But he's not the only person to get a view of Dubai from outside the building. In January 2010, two men broke the world record for BASE jumping by leaping from the 160th floor. And in March of this year, famed French "Spider-Man" Alain Robert, climbed up the outside of the tower. The ascent took six hours.
