Watch out for ceiling fans, Jennifer Lawrence!

The reigning Best Actress Oscar winner was snapped on the set of her new film with a towering blonde bouffant hairdo that's a world away from her famous "Hunger Games" brunette braid. It's a very different look for Lawrence, but it's right in line with this new film's 1970s setting. The currently untitled film reunites her with "Silver Linings Playbook" director David O. Russell and costar Bradley Cooper.

The movie, which tells the story of the FBI's "Abscam" operation in the 70s and 80s that targeted dirty politicians, has many of its big-name stars changing up their matinee-idol looks. Christian Bale was photographed late last week with a stringy comb-over barely covering his bald head. Bradley Cooper was snapped with his hair in pink rollers, and Amy Adams was caught with her auburn locks stuffed up in a shower cap.

It's a little hard to tell if that's all Lawrence's real hair piled up there, or if she's wearing a wig. She's been seen around the film's Boston location with her hair covered up by a wide-brimmed fedora. Of course, she's no stranger to switching up her hairstyle and color. She had honey-blonde hair the night she won the Academy Award, and the very next day she was back to Katniss Everdeen's dark brown tresses. She looks like she's returned to a lighter shade now, but it wouldn't be surprising if she has extensions or even a full hairpiece to reach that elevation.

This new film won't hit theaters until Christmas, but you'll see her before then in the Depression Era drama "Serena" (with platinum blonde ringlets) this September, and "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" in November.
