Jamie Foxx Pities the Spidey-Fool in ‘Spider-Man 2′

"We wanted Electro to disrespect Spider-Man" — so says Jamie Foxx about his upcoming villainous turn in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2." So in order to get under Spidey's skin, Foxx channeled one of the most-quoted baddies in cinema history: Clubber Lang, aka Mr. T.

In other words, Electro pities the Spider-fool.

"What we wanted to do with Electro... we wanna capture when Mr. T fought Rocky," Foxx told Yahoo recently while promoting Canon's Project Imaginat10n series. "[Mr. T's Clubber Lang] didn't even say, 'I'm gonna beat you up, Rocky.' He was talking to his girl: 'Hey pretty girl. You need a real man.' I was thinking 'Aw man, that's so disrespectful.'"
