The passion, the betrayal, that unforgettable front-strapped dress, and that smooth Sade jam.
As "Indecent Proposal" turns 20 years old this weekend, see how inflation rates have almost doubled the cost of a night with Diana Murphy, played by Demi Moore.
Moore's famed, black Thierry Mugler gown had a deep impact on '90s fashion -- especially during prom time as high school girls tried their best to emulate the star with similar strappy designs. Mugler's retro and futuristic-inspired looks -- which remain a hallmark of the '90s decade -- were frequently spotted on television, movie, and pop stars back in the day. Surprisingly, that front-strap look has endured through the years, having been spotted on Madonna less than a decade ago and on Kim Kardashian even more recently.
Starring Moore, Robert Redford, and Woody Harrelson, "Indecent Proposal" first landed in theaters on April 7, 1993. That's when audiences caught their first glimpse of John Gage (Redford) plunking down $1 million for a night with David Murphy's (Harrelson) wife (Moore).
Sure $1 million isn't as much as it used to be, but by Vegas escort standards, it's still a lot for one night with a lady.
