Before he played warm and cuddly characters like "Dr. Doolittle" and "The Nutty Professor," Eddie Murphy was known for his fast-talking, rough-edged cinematic persona.  In "48 Hrs." and "Beverly Hills Cop," Murphy became a Hollywood sensation for playing heroes with a bad-boy streak.
