What's The Story
At last the Hogwarts gang returns to theaters in the highly anticipated sixth installment of the
Harry Potter movie franchise. In this dark, epic tale, Professor Dumbledore works with Harry and with newcomer Professor Horace Slughorn to unravel the chilling mysteries behind Voldemort's immortality. All the while, the siren song of teenage romance works its magic on Harry and Ginny, as well as on Ron, who finds himself the unexpected object of more than one female's attentions.
Three Good Reasons
- 1Because you've been dying to see this movie since last fall when it was supposed to come out.
- 2Order of the Phoenix director David Yates returns, this time teaming up with two-time Oscar-nominated cinematographer, Bruno Delbonnel, best known for his work on Amelie.
- 3The Voldemort flashback scenes will have an interesting true-to-life twist: Ralph Fiennes' younger self will be played by his own nephew, Hero Fiennes-Tiffin.
Bet You Didn't Know
Timothy Spall may play a cowardly rat -- Wormtail -- in the
Harry Potter films, but in real life he had the courage to battle leukemia and win. Thirteen years after his diagnosis, he's still going strong.
