What's The Story
If Christine Brown is going to get ahead at work, she has to make some hard decisions. One of those decisions -- denying an old woman an extension on her house payment -- turns out to be the worst she's ever made. The old woman curses Christine to three days of psychological torment that will end in her being sent to Hell for eternity. When her boyfriend refuses to believe her story, she must turn to a psychic, whose plan to break her free of the curse turns out to be its own special kind of torment.
Three Good Reasons
- 1Spider-Man director Sam Raimi, who got his start with the cult classic Evil Dead films, returns to what he does best -- scaring the socks off moviegoers -- for the first time in 15 years.
- 2Allison Lohman, who stars as Christine, has earned critical acclaim throughout her career, but has yet to land a role in a blockbuster hit. Will this film finally launch her onto the A-list?
- 3Macintosh users (or just fans of the commercials) will get a kick out of seeing Justin Long, the "Mac guy," step off the white backdrop and into a horror film as Christine's boyfriend.
Bet You Didn't Know
When Allison Lohman played 16-year-old Katy in the 2006 movie
Flicka, she was actually 27 years old.
