What's The Story

From Flashdance to High School Musical, no dance movie is safe in this outrageous genre parody. Thomas Uncles and Megan White are two youngsters from opposite sides of the tracks, but they have one thing in common: all they want to do is dance, dance, dance. Along with a cast of suspiciously familiar-looking characters, Thomas and Megan must overcome their differences and shake their groove things in order to win the ultimate dance competition.

Three Good Reasons

  • 1After their success forced us to suffer through years of Wayans wannabes, the infamous Brothers are back in the parody game, doing to dance flicks what they once did for scary movies.
  • 2The film is full of fresh faces, including first-time director Damien Wayans, nephew to the famous brothers. It's also the first major film for leads Shoshana Bush and Damon Wayans Jr.
  • 3Whether you love or hate films like Hairspray, Save the Last Dance, and High School Musical, slapstick and gross-out humor fans will surely love Wayans' twisted take on these movies.

Bet You Didn't Know

Star Damon Wayans Jr. wrote for the show My Wife and Kids at age 20, making him the youngest staff writer in the TV industry. More about Dance Flick on Yahoo! Movies
