They may get art films that the two megaplexes in Stamford don't get....but their popcorn and soda isn't refillable and their prices are more expensive than the Norwalk Garden Cinema...which often carries the same movies at a better price.
This theater was a great idea for Stamford....a place to see foreign films, documentaries and classic cinema on the big screen! And at first, they did it right...got good films and had a bargain matinee price. THEN they decided they didn't need the bargain crowd. Every showing is now FULL PRICE. For that amount, I can just see them in Manhattan! Please, Avon, consider the poor movie lovers! Bring back your bargain matinees!
