LATE NIGHT SHOWINGS ARE NOT A GOOD TIME TO GO. UNLESS YOU LIKE YOUNG PEOPLE TALKING AND GETTING UP AND DOWN AND COMING IN AFTER THEIR MOVIE IS OVER. ALSO TALKING ON THE PHONE. THIS HAS HAPPENED TWICE, IN THE LAST COUPLE OF MONTHS. During the daytime it seams o.k, but at night there is no control. For my family and I feel it is not safe to go at night.
Just as the previous reviews stated, the theatre is close to home and the sound effects are sometimes loud or too loud, but my wife and I enjoyed the recently released Avatar and we were thoroughly pleased with our experience ... except that on our way out (we are one of those annoying people that read the credits) one of the cleaning staff gave us an unfriendly stare and didn't respond when we said goodbye.
i go to this theater becuse it is close to my house. but i also go because the sound efeccts are always so loud.
The main reason I go to this one is because its close to home. I have been there when I have to go and tell them its time for the movie to start. No one wants to work the concession counter. No one wants to clean the theater.
I also go to the movies of my choice at this theater. When my Husband go to see the new movies, we generally go on Wednesdays in the afternoons, and the theater is always nice and clean. Restooms are always clean too. IF I was to find anything wrong with H-RC .. it would be that more than just one person serving behind the concession stand. Where I live ( Fernandina ) we have a small theater.. but they do not have any statium seating which is what brings the hubby and I to H-RC to see all of our action packed summer movies.
