This theatre seems like it never plays movies with black ppl in them. When Century 12 was open it seemed like Century 20 sent all the minority movies to Century 12.I miss Century 12.Century 20 is nice and all but to strict. Its ridiculous.I brought my own soda and in the middle of the movie the usher told me to leave for bringing my own soda.I was wondering how long he stood in the dark looking at me drink it and waits until the middle of the movie to tell me to leave.
pretty good theater but they fail for not getting Boondock Saints 2 for it's release
We had a very bad experience in this RWC theatre, the Century 20. My wife and I (we're in our 50's) went to see a highly anticipated movie, and just after it started, a large, fat guy, wearing all black, came to our seats. He belligerently started demanding something that I couldn't understand, as the movie was loud, so I told him to go away and leave us alone. He got very threatening, but I finally figured out that he wanted to see our tickets. He had no identification (badge, name tag, uniform), so I was slow in realizing that he worked there, and by now, my wife was terrified! I showed him our tickets (yes they were all proper). He now demanded that we go downstairs with him, and I remembered the guy (having a medical problem) getting beaten up by this staff. I refused, so he came back w/ a security guard. We had moved to other seats, this thug couldn't find us, though he continued to disturb the other patrons. Won't be back!!!
i went there to see transformers revenge of the fallen, and i was blown away with how well the theater was put together.it was clean and the employees was very professional.i would go there again for my next movie choice.
Comfortable, new theatres with good images and sounds in a nice location in Downtown Palo Alto. A lot of teenagers do frequent this theatre and they often loiter in the street in front, as teenagers will do, but I've never felt it to be at all dangerous or creepy in any way.
