Union Station attracts a lot of young kids and when you're trying to watch a movie, they are often too damn rowdy with all the chattering and playing on their cell phones. I haven't seen a movie at Union Station in ages and plan to keep it that way -- although I do miss their comfy seats.
90% of the ushers were rude. The other 10% had to endure the rude ones behavior. The Manager couldn't be everywhere. The rude ushers acted like the customers were annoying them. And their customer service, the rude ones, was just awful. They let people use their cellphones but if someone sneezed or coughed or just clear their throat. The rude ones would chastise or promise expulsion for disturbing the other patrons.
The movie theater is not clean, the bathroom reeks of urine. The flush does not work. The seats in the theater are so high that it clips the bottom of the movie for my height of 5'8". The worst part is the parking fees. If validated it is $1.00 up to 3 hours. Harry Potter was 3 hours long, so what did I have to pay? $13.00!!! The movie experience turned out to be so expensive. I would not recommend going to this theater unless they make some arrangements with the parking bandits.
