Been going to this theatre for quite a few years now and I do enjoy both the price and the employees. As for the creep that was wining about paying more the in Omaha, try driving there and save $2.00, good luck with that. Thankyou Riviera for trying your best to stay open and giving people a good deal.
I personal enjoy some of the movies and the sound isn't that bad once the movies get under way. I think calling it a dive is just a little too harsh. Yes they could have done better on remodeling, I'll give you that. I think they said they were still doing some work.
Ughhh! Old movies for $3! In Omaha the $1 Theaters are really $1 theatres and somehow we get ripped off here in Sioux City by having to pay 300% more for the same thing. On top of that we get this dump that is one step above a mobile home trailer home. My boss told us that the city actually gave these people something like $100,000 and by the looks of it went into someones pocket and not the theater. You want cheap movies...try netflix
