Wow -- what a treat to see a 3-D movie (Avatar) in this awesome theater!!! Coming from out little mall theater in Sandpoint, the Riverstone is like a brand new theater-going experience! The stadium seating is fantastic -- you can even rest your head on the high seats! -- the sound is AMAZING; I could FEEL the sound, you know? No more straining to hear the words. I bought my ticket over the phone, so it was a hefty $12.35, but it was completely worth it for that kind of experience. I'm sure non-3-D movies are at least comfortable to watch, with good sound quality, but I don't know how much they are since it's not listed here and it didn't say on the phone. But at least for 3-D, this was one fantastic experience for me -- I'm going back in a few days! :)
It's the best theatre in North Idaho, period. Yes, their phone system is a total mess, so stick to looking up the times online and do the Matinees (if you can) to save money. The Riverstone complex offers a Starbucks for after the flick, and Red Robin or Azteca Grill (ask for 'Crash' - she's awesome!!) for dinner. No one has ever kicked our seats in the 3+ years we've been going there, and parking is a breeze and FREE - compared to the AMC theatre in downtown Spokane. If you don't want to wait for the DVD, then grab your date or family and head on over to the Riverstone Stadium 14 at Northwest Blvd exit off 95 in CDA. See you at the Movies!
The prices are kinda high for admission, even higher for concessions. But its the nicest in the CdA area. So whatcha gonna do? Except wait for the dvd.
Their phone system is way too complex and very annoying...having to use it just to find out the price of a movie is a huge waste of time! This theater should list their movie prices on the main view along with the showtimes...we already know they're too expensive...
Still costs too much. And you have to put up with people kicking the seats. Not worth it.
