The National Museum of the American Indian has been a long awaited museum for Native People. The museum and it's staff are wonderful to work with and have presented to the public Native People based on their voice. Don't miss spending a lot of time there if you make a trip to Washington, D.C.
The architecture was breathtaking. The curves of the building had a flow and distinct natural energy. The exhibits and accompanying captions were brilliant. I recommend this as a must see.
we hoped this would about the history of american indians, but all the stuff we saw was a present day tribute to the different tribes. it was not bad, but we really wanted the history and old time artifacts not a water cooler and gas can from wal-mart - that are really a part of an exhibit
i absolutely LOVED this museum. it has a lot of very hot things in it. While u are looking at the exhibits, u will probably get a little distracted. i recommend that u go to this museum during the middle of april in the middle of the day because that is wen things seem to be most hot. and while u are there, pray for wutever u want cause it seems to work most of the time while u are there. its an awesome museum. i also agree with the review beneath mine.
It is by far the best museum I have ever been to in my life. It was a once in a life time chance to be here on the day I was and I thought it was amazing. It was filled with cool stuff, my friends know what I'm talking about... The diamonds were beautiful, but I gotta say much beautifuler things were just there hanging around in the museum. I'd reccomend this place on a school field trip for adventure. And this place is great for prayer. It really makes things much funner. You can find a lot of hot items here. Stuff, you probably won't see anywhere else, except in Livermore. Yup. Well, I enjoyed this museum. I reccomend it to crazy people who like moderate following.
