I'm excitied. The Granada Theater will be open September 2008. Check out their website at www.granadatheaters.com.
Recently remodeled the Cinelux theaters are a big improvement over the old Cinema 6 theater that occupied that space. They now have stadium seating and modern sound. The screens aren't as large as at local AMC theaters, but the crowds are also much better to deal with if you don't want the hassle. Saves a drive to San Jose for south county residents.
A clean, comfortable modern theater with good acoustics and sound. Decent matinee prices. Downsides: can't order online, and must pay in cash. Projectionist seemed absent at our last visit. Left Narnia running, framed off-screen, cropped and using the wrong lens, until reported by an audience member, twice.
