The theaters are small and have bad picture and sound. It's not their fault, really. It's an old theater that's in disrepair and can't keep up with modern digital technology. They do have digital picture and sound (I think in just one theater), but it's never any good. They need to either update their theater or just close down entirely.
Ever try to call to see whats playing? Dont waste your time. Their telephone system is terrible and rarely works.
I prefer the Wheelersburg Cinema over Portsmouth. There has been some flaws, but the employees are great about fixing the problems when they occur. And I love the new look on the inside.
