The Chalet is a nice place for a young teen who likes to go to the movies with 2 best friends, when there mom is over protective and wont let them go to bonneylake by themselves. just be prepared its not the cleanest place in the world.
It's a great little theather. Not crowded! But I costs 7.00 for adults and 5.00 for kids.... so don't look at the prices above....
Great local Theatre, brings me back to my childhood days. Much better than the newer Theaters. It is part of Americana Roger
Tha Chalet Theater - When I was 10yrs old (i am 45 now) my Dad , brother and I lived upstairs on one side of this old theater. My older brother and I loved movie nites due to a Big Marquis sign that displayed the weekly attraction surrounded in lights!!!! We would climb out onto that sign and gaze at all the people and when needed changed a light bulb or two. We got explore and play inside all we wished and movies were always free!!! I even got go to the projection room and watch from there. I was happy to find this website and even happier to share the tale. I also attended the Fifth grade at J J Smith Elementary Scool Miss Hendrickson was my teacher.
Good little theater, takes me back to my childhood when we didn't have all these MEGA Theaters. Old Fashioned decor etc!
