As a fan of indie films I often find myself at Laemmle's Monica Fourplex. Of the indie theatres on the west side they offer a good balance between comfort and selection. For a complex with up to 4+ movies screening at a time, the theatre seating is comfortable. You wont find a theatre with the seats not facing directly at the screen or a completely flat floor like you do at some of the other multi-screen indie theatres in the area. (e.g., Westside Pavillion) They also let you bring in outside coffee, which is a huge bonus. You can find larger and more glamorous indie screens on the westside, but few will offer the film selection of the Monica Fourplex. This is why I continously find myself here.
