The staff at the Riverwalk are great. They fix the popcorn just the way you want. The theatre is never busy...probably not good for them but for the movie goer that is awesome. I love the $1.00 popcorn on Tuesdays and $5.00 admit on Sundays. You just can't beat it.
Good theater. It isnt as nice as a theater in the mall but it isnt run down. And $5 for a ticket all day Sunday, who can beat that! The things as the concession stand are just as pricey as any other theater.
I love this theatre...is is clean and have awesome popcorn. The higher priced overrated theatre down the road you can't even get them to put butter on your order... you have to do it yourself. I am tired of being taken advantage of...I say long live Wekiva Riverwalk 8!! Not sure why someone would post the concession prices are higher because they are the same as anywhere else. Sunday's $5.ticket price is an awesome concept and I hope it never goes away.
It's a hidden gem of a theatre, most people don't know about it. I've lived near the area for awhile and I can honestly say that if you want to see a movie without the full annoying crowd on the weekends, this is the place. During the week, your likely to be in the theatre with only a couple of other people at most. And about the prices from the before poster, they're the exact same as any other theatre (AMC, Winter Park) in the area; yes it's expensive, but all theatre's are. And with their $5 movie tickets all day on Sunday, it offsets the concession prices. All in all, a fine theatre, haven't had a bad experience there with anything yet.
Old run down and smelly. And the prices they charge at the concession are even more than you pay at the nicer theaters. Only go here if you live near t and don't feel like driving.
