The Goods: Tues/wed 3 bucks cant be beat in LA. I dont even live in this area and I call this my spot. I must say its a community theater but they show new releases there. I been coming for 5 plus yrs now. Make sure you get the movie card and get it punch each time u go there u will what I mean. Street parking after 8pm its free go figure. Sat and Sun its FREE the best or ride the Gold Line get on ave 57 walk back 2 blocks golden.The Bad: Bathrooms are jack up ( after the 3 showings) Sticky feet from spills (thats common anywhere) people talk during the movie and cells phones go off and people talk on them ( how rude huh? ) And why do people bring NEW borns to a movie ( get a baby sitter ) not the best area, but I can say NEVER had a problem there of any kind. Conclusion: Its still my spot I will keep going there, the popcorn is good. Great date spot for me. Support the community
IVE BEEN GOING TO THIS THEATHER FOR MORE THEN 10 YRS NOW,ITS SIMPLE AND CHEAP AND ALWAYS GETS THE NEW MOVIES WHY PAY MORE ,AND THE FOOD IS CHEAP TO ,THIS JUST NEED TO KEEP THE RESTROOMS MORE CLEAN ,AND ADD TOILET PAPPER AND SOAP LOL....ITS IN A OKAY AREA AND MOST OF THE TIME ITS EMPTY ,I SUGGEST PEOPLE TO CHECK IT OUT....
Its an affordable, and has cheap parking plus its near the Highland Park Yellow line Station. Its a bit run down and they should clear up better, but its just as good as any high cost theaters in the area. Its independently own, so if you get pass your "High Standards" its a good place to take the kids and saves you in the wallet. Cash Only!
This theater is great for gathering the kids and their friends for a couple of hours of entertainment. I'd never be able to afford taking my three sons AND their friends if I went to one of the chain theaters. Can't beat the value if you're able to see past the graffiti on the way in.
