The theatre was clean and the actual quality of the movie was fine, but the management staff was rude and not trained very well in customer service, especially at the manager at the snack bar. If you like having a wanabe roll her eyes at you and ignore you when you ask for help, then this is the theatre for you! I say there are plenty of nearby theaters, avoid the rude and impolite behavior of this staff and go somewhere else!
My recommendation is to only go to this theater if you are prepared to deal with grumpy staff, and hear only half your movie because you will spend most of your time listening to others talk, laugh, answer their phones and talk! I used to frequent this theater quite often, but the last 3 times I went to see a movie we sat through other movie-goers (rude people) texting, talking, laughing (during dramas), and kicking the seatbacks. I spent so much time going back and forth to management that I missed most of the first movie. Management did nothing until my fourth request and then they sent security that was too scared to tell two teenage girls to be quiet, so we took free return passes and left. When I returned it was to the same nuisances during the film and to management and staff that doesn't give a crap about doing their jobs. They say they send security through the theaters to control problems, but I have never seen any security do any such rounds and then the staff seems very put out when asked to do something about the problems. Once I got a pager, so that I wouldn't have to leave the theater if there were disruptions, however, the thing did not work. I rang the thing for a half hour to no avail. The manager said "Oops. I guess I gave you one that wasn't charged."
Bad customer service. The bathrooms are usually dirty and too expensive. They do not believe in discounts before noon If I had a chance on the rating systme I would not give them a star.
Overall this has been a good place. The midnight showings have old food. Couldn't even bite through my pretzel. And it's costly for a showing, about $11.50 per adult. The seats are nice tho, Soft and recline. Worth the money. Just check your food before you sit down.
Very Nice Movie Theater, clean and well kept. The only problem I encountered was with one of their Management staff. She was very unpleasant and mean demeanor. She looked like she did not want to be there and you can tell in her body language. When I asked the other employees why she was like that, they commented that they always get a lot of complaints regarding her. I could not understand her when I tried talking to her. All I got was that her name was Julia and she is Management. I could not understand why Edwards would reteain an individual like this especially if they already have received numerous complaints on her.
