Would like to see more movies than just the most popular ones Sound levels much too loud especially during previews would go to a lot move movies if sound level could be controlled
We are native Floridians but 5 years ago we moved to Homosassa we go to Ocala to the Hollywood 16 because we can see the latest movies that don't show in the Citrus county area. So far we have had good experiences there we chose to go to a matinee the only problem is the seats they need to be up dated. Our other chose of a movie theatre is the Beacon in Brooksville they have a good variety of the lastest movies and appeal to a larger demographics. Vip
I love to go to the movies in Ocala, the staff is friendly and helpful. The only problem is the chairs, we need the modern chairs like the ones in Tampa. A good example is the ones at Westshore Plaza. Then we will be a 5 star.
Since living in Ocala during the past five years, I personally have never had any problems using my debit card for buying admission tickets at Regal Hollywood 16. Even so, if such a problem would occur, I find that being a complaining customer does not help the situation regarding the time spent rectifying such a mistake. Also, the surrounding area of the theatre is designed for the young, e.g. Putt-putt Golf, Go-cart track, video games, and the like. If someone does not care for such an atmosphere on weekend nights, I recommend they either go to a weekday matinee -- or follow their own suggestion and stay home. There is nothing wrong with the upkeep of the Regal Hollywood 16, and I always enjoy the break of going out to see a new movie.
We've attended this theatre since it opened approx 10 yrs ago and it is fairly clean and usually all is well however the theatre needs some more management. Many times the cashiers mess up and charge us more than once on our debit cards so watch out for that. Then it takes too long to solve the transaction before we go in to sit down. That's a bother. If we are going to drive anywhere and pay more than we'd pay at home to watch a movie in the comfort of our own home wearing pajamas, eating whatever we wish, then it should be a pleasant experience. So I hate when we go on a Fri/Sat night and tons of teens are entering through the exit doors for free and making noises while the movie is playing, that is too frustrating to deal with.
