Good theater as far as theaters go. For those that don't like the prices of the food and drink, eat and drink before you get there. All theaters mark up the food and drink to ridiculous prices. Ever been to a ballpark or Disneyland...or the airport???? Same deal. If you want to do it on the cheap, go buy your two tickets at Costco for $15 and bring some M&M's in your pocket. Stop acting like Edwards theater is different from any others when it comes to food and ticket pricing. My only complaint is that in can get a bit crowded and you have to deal with inconsiderate people that would rater talk than watch the movie. But as far as having a good seat and reasonable sound for the movie, Edwards does just fine by me.
donnntttt hatteee!!!..love edwards. best place to go!:D
Go to Sierra Vista. Nice and clean. Not such a Disneyland atmosphere like Edwards.
Saw Avatar last night at Edwards 21. OK movie. The guy taking tickets doesn't even tell us to take the 3D glasses out of a box, he just basically grunts as you walk past, making it necessary for us to walk all the way back to the front to get them. Doesn't even apologize either. The attitude of the whole place seems to be, "if you don't like it, tough". One other time they told us to throw out our expensive coffees....cute. This way you HAVE to buy their $5 sodas...$12 to get in and they'll tell you to throw out your coffee. Am I the only one who thinks there is something wrong with that? Evidently so, since they get away with this crap every night... Ticket prices are astronomical for this theater and film, cost was almost $25 for me and my son just to get in. Tried to buy tickets to the IMAX showing, but both ticket machines out of order in front of it. Very convenient. Edwards loves making everyone wait outside in the cold or heat to buy tickets. Noticed on the way in there are automated ticket machines inside, but no signs to tell anyone this, on the outside. The one sign I did see was the sign with prices, its black, about 12 inches by 12inches, in the window where you pay. Guess they really don't want anyone knowing those prices too early. Once you pay your ridiculous ticket price, then you have a choice of $10 popcorn tubs or $5 soda jugs, and other assorted junk food. Then you sit down in the theater and get (pay) to watch lots of annoying Sprint Network, Fandango ( another rip off) and Coca Cola commercials. And WHEN will they ever put a darn clock in front of that theater?? Giant sign filled with movie times, but no clock. Whatever...its been like that for 10 years, why change now? Guess it would cost too much money to put up a clock. Really need to stop going here...and so should everyone else.
i like watching movies overthere because it is clean
