  • I think this place has much better service than the other movie theatre. The staff is very friendly and actually takes the time & effort to get to know you if they recognize your face. They open the auditorium doors for you when you have your hands full, take care of rowdy audience members quickly, ask how your movie was afterward, all the little things that make you feel like you're not just a number. The place FINALLY has 3-D/ Digital movies which is great! They also have a free loyaly card program that I use now. Racked up a few free movies and snacks so far. My family and I have a great time there!

  • HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! The theater was filthy with sodas and popcorn bags all over the place from many previous movies. I had to sit through 45 minutes of commercials and previews from the posted time that the movie was scheduled to begin. The sound was inconsistant. DO NOT GO TO THIS THEATER. TRY THE MARQUIS ON ROUTE 37 W. IT'S SO MUCH NICER!

  • Being Retired I go to Movies all the time and by far the very best movie house in ALL of new jersey to go to is the Marquee on Rt# 37. Clean, all Digital in Picture & Sound, and the seats are larger then normal movie seats and excellant. Bottomline, If you can see the same movie at the Marquee on Rt 37 in Toms River, Go their. The Very Best in the US as far as I'm concern. IMO

  • Compared to the Brick theater, this one was much cleaner and the service was considerably friendlier. You can tell it has not been updated in a while, but instead of screaming out-of-date, it provided a rather lovely appeal. Really, if you are choosing between the Brick theater and this one, choose this one. You'll be glad you did.

  • uh horrible. Unfortunately I come here often because its the closest. If you can, try and go to the brick one or the new one they just built the Marquee. The theatres are small and they are not very efficent. I came here once to see 1408 and it was a diaster. It was the last day 1408 was playing and it was storming very badly. We were about 30 minutes away from the end and it stopped playing and went to the coke commercials you see at the beggining. Then it came back on but was playing with no sound for about 3 minutes. During this time, someone opened the doors and threw a bottle at my relative. After it playing for 3 minutes with no sound it turned black. A worker opened the doors and said we have to evacuate because the power went out in the whole theatre. They said we could bring our tickets back tommorow to see it again and get a refund, but that was the last day it was playing. We never got our refund and there was 7 of us.
