This theater deserves 0 stars! It opened around 1997 or so (not too old) but it's gotten to be horribly beat up, it's already falling apart. Theaters smell absolutely horrible and the overall design of the theater is horribly dated (no stadium seating!) It needs to be completely torn down, rebuilt, and expanded into a 14 or 16 screen Tinseltown like the one in Chico (that one is a beautiful theater!). Movies 8 is just as bad, but that one just needs to be shut down or put in a better location.
True, the movie theaters here could use some sprucing up and the food is priced pretty high but the ticket prices are good. I just paid over $10 a person in Sacramento for a theater that was in no better shape than those here. My main gripe is the Coke. I hate how it taste like Dr Pepper. They said it's because their soda lines run together. Well fix it then! If you pay that much for soda you should only be tasting the soda you ordered!
either theatre in redding isnt showing "Capitalism- a love story" or Paranormal Activity, Just because were way north doesnt mean were hillbillies; give us every available Top-Rated flick thats out, does bush run this town still i thought we kicked them republicans to the back
Have to agree that the movie seats are terrible. Old and its needs new bathrooms...........and the food is sooo over priced........come on clean up your act!!!!!!!
Lets be honest here! The Movie theaters in Redding are dirty and understaffed. They also hire people who don't care about there Jobs and are hardly polite. I used to be an assistant manager at the Century Theaters in Redding... In this harsh economy, its either great service or fire and rehire before we all decide that the movies are over rated.
