I love this place!!!

This place is called the Kelso Theater Pub. Any rating under 5 stars is short-sighted and woefully ignorant. In this age of overpriced multiplexes, greasy popcorn and snacks that run the price of a sit-down dinner, Kelso Theater Pub is an oasis of class, comfort, quality and charm. It is housed in an old, traditional theater in downtown Kelso, WA. It boasts a 5 to 6 dollar cover charge, a fantastic garlic/feta pizza (among others, just my personal fav), and a wide selection of beer and wine. The pizza slices are generous and the service is friendly and personal. The owners need to be commended for their ability to stay the course in a world of quick but shoddy returns. I've visited the theater many times and have alway relished my time there. The only drawback to this theater is that I wish there were more movies appropriate for children shown in that theater. I also wish I could watch old silent movies on the big screen, but as I've been told, this small town isn't quite ready for "The Cabinet of Dr.Calegari", "Nosferatu" or a Chaplin run. As soon as the community can support it, I know these savvy owners will jump on board. Needless-to-say, if there is a movie you are even slightly interested in seeing in the Kelso/Longview area, then go to the Theater Pub. It is a blessing to all of us.

the pizza was good, but the drinks are considerably overpriced. Overall the staff was good could smile alittle more.
