We always try to see films at Park Place instead of waiting in traffic to get in and out of Southridge. Park Place is a nicer theater, it is convenient, very little traffic, and it's clean.
It beats going to Southridge and being bludgeoned to death with the pre-movie commercials that they run at Marquee.
Never too crowded, service is always friendly, and they give you a kit-kat with your kids-combo which is awesome haha. The only thing is that at night it isn't the best place to be alone.
I don't particularly care for this theater. The popcorn is "pre-popped" meaning that they buy it in bags, already popped and put it in their machines. Their other food is not great either. The nachos and cheese come in separate bags that they just give to you after they heat up the cheese container. The cheese comes in a miniature container, almost like a yogurt cup. The theaters usually feel stuffy and not too well ventilated. You have to pay for parking, too. I won't bother with this theater unless I am already in Charleston. Otherwise, I will go to Marquee Cinemas in South Charleston or Great Escape in Nitro.
Horrible, just plain horrible. Don't go. Movies always mess up. Rude black people always talk through the whole movie your watching.
